About Me

     Hello, everyone! My name is Robyn Jones, and I am a journalist from Stockton, California. I have completed my Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a concentration in Print and Online Journalism from the University of La Verne in May of 2023. Currently, I am located in Northern California, specifically in the Central Valley area.

    During my time in school, I have held staff writing positions and editor positions for The Campus Times at the University of La Verne in La Verne, CA., and for The Collegian at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA.

     During my journey as a reporter, I have earned multiple honors from the Journalism Association of Community Colleges between 2019 and 2021. I have also recently worked with Stocktonia, a Nonprofit news organization in Stockton, CA, as a Media Contributor.

     So far in my journey, I have learned to be more disciplined and alert. Establishing these traits has helped me to perform better to reach my personal goal of gaining more experience in the newsroom to become a successful multimedia journalist.
